INGREDIENTS
- 20 oz young jackfruit in brine rinsed & drained
- 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 small onion diced
- 1-2 cloves garlic minced
- garlic powder to taste
- smoked paprika to taste
- salt & pepper to taste
- a few drops Liquid Smoke optional
INSTRUCTIONS
- Drain and rinse the jackfruit as described above. Squeeze as much water out as you can.
- Add the jackfruit and all remaining ingredients to your slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Try to stir it up once in a while - add splashes of water if it seems like it's getting dry.
- Use two forks to shred the jackfruit until it resembles pulled pork.
- Serve it any damn way you want.
